Kaşık Havası (melody) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Kaşık Havası (melody)
Kaşık Havası (literally "spoon tune") is the arranged form of a traditional Turkish folkloric dance tune by the guitar band Silüetler. In its original form, the dancers use wooden spoons as a kind of castanet. But Silüetler which used to play more or less The Shadows type music,〔(Turkish Progressive Music )〕 increased its musical rhythm and arranged it for guitar band as an example of hard rock. In 1965 the band entered Golden Microphone music contest . Although originally their contest entry was ''Sis'', it was Kaşık Havası on the reverse side of the 45 rpm record which became a hit. The record was released by Hürriyet newspaper (sponsor of the contest) 〔(Discogs page )〕 ==References==
